32 GB iPhone coming this week?

There are a few reports out there saying Apple is prepping the 32GB iPhone for release this week. The timing is certainly weird and there hasn’t been much information leading up to this. Could this be Apple’s counter to the release of the first Android phone? T-Mobile has invited the press to attend an event on September 23rd where they will unveil a phone running Google’s mobile OS. So this could be a tactic to draw attention away from Android and back to the iPhone… This is going to be an interesting week…

apple store nyc: west 14th st edition…

I think with this visit it’s mission accomplished for Dizzy… The store is not as busy as the other two locations, but this one has a glass spiral stairs that looks badass… They also had a little bit more info on the earphones, but not that much more… Basically they said “in October”, when in October? Who knows… Ok, it’s pictures time…

2nd gen iPod Touch shipped with firmware 2.1.1

Something interesting has come to our attention… Apparently the new iPod Touch has firmware 2.1.1 instead of 2.1… As you can see in a picture Dizzy took at the 5th Ave Apple Store… However the update is not available for the first gen Touch, I just tried to update one and it said that 2.1 is the most current version

So is Apple releasing the firmware at a later time? Or is that a version specific for the new iPod Touch? This is starting to get confusing. Lets hope they don’t screw up by releasing too many versions…

apple store nyc: 5th ave edition…

Dizzy is in NYC right now and he visited the Apple Store at 5th Ave today… He got to see and use the new iPods in the store… I was interested in the new earphones but they didn’t have them in stock yet… They are a bit pricey but I can’t use the standard earphones that come with the iPod/iPhone and the ones I got now are about to fall apart… Anyway, enough of me rambling about… Lets see some pictures….
