apple store nyc: 5th ave edition…
by Chiyin on Sep 16th, 2008 @ 7:43 pmDizzy is in NYC right now and he visited the Apple Store at 5th Ave today… He got to see and use the new iPods in the store… I was interested in the new earphones but they didn’t have them in stock yet… They are a bit pricey but I can’t use the standard earphones that come with the iPod/iPhone and the ones I got now are about to fall apart… Anyway, enough of me rambling about… Lets see some pictures….

iPod nano… They are thin, very thin
iPod Classic… They say that a Classic never goes out of style, I guess it doesn’t apply to iPods?
No love for the Classics.. Someone was at the display but only to get away from the crowd so she could send an email…
Note how shiny the back is…
iPod Touch… 2.1.1?
So many scratches and it’s only been 1 week…
iPod Shuffle… Still the same, well with new colors…

All the new touches I saw on display had really scratched up backs that did not come clean after rubbing them with my shirt. The picture doesn’t even really show how scuffed up it looked in person.
The classics with the shinny back weren’t as scratched up, but that was probably because not many people were interested in them.
