iPhone 2.2.1 surprise update released
by Justin Horn on Jan 27th, 2009 @ 2:02 pmLooks like I was wrong, at least partially wrong. My original time estimate for the next firmware release was right on target, but this is just a small bug fix release. Apple has released an incremental version update for the iPhone and iPod Touch to bring it up to version 2.2.1. An update like this is usually just for minor tweaks and bug fixes and does not introduce new features like a 2.3 or 3.0 would do.
So this does conclude the latest iPhone firmware poll when will iPhone 2.2.1 firmware be released? …and the winner of this latest When Will Apple poll is…we’ll be right back after this commercial break!
Ok, just kidding
