iPhone 2.2 beta firmware in the hands of developers
by Justin Horn on Sep 25th, 2008 @ 2:18 pmMacrumors is reporting that the next update to the iPhone firmware, version 2.2, is currently being seeded to some developers. The version is labeled as “iPhone OS 2.2 beta 1″. Here’s to hoping this update isn’t too far off and incorporates the push service that was promised for September of 2008. The Macrumors article also has an email supposedly from Steve saying they are running a bit late with the push notification update and want to make sure they get it right the first time. Although I really want to see this new service, I would rather have them get it right then try to please shareholders.

when will iPhone 2.2 firmware be released?
