iPhone A-GPS assisted by driving directions
by Justin Horn on Aug 29th, 2008 @ 2:03 pmI know this isn’t earth shattering news, but found it interesting enough that I thought someone out there in the world would agree. When driving home from the University of Miami (go canes!) season opener last night I put in driving directions back to the house. When viewing the GPS blue dot on the search it was very close, but on the wrong side of the road and had the halo of error covering both sides of the road and then some. I then switched over to the driving directions with the nice purple brick road to follow. I noticed that the blue dot moved over to the correct side of the road and the halo of error was gone. So I guess this adds another assistant to the A in A-GPS. Pictures after the break
