My3gSpeed iPhone speed test launched!
by Justin Horn on Aug 27th, 2008 @ 10:37 pmVisit My3gSpeed.com now!
This isn’t just another random iPhone speed test because it was developed by the same team (nerio and I) that brought you whenwillapple.com
The main goals with this site were:
Give results some location reference
After running a test the user can select the city that they are currently in from a list of major US cities. This will allow us to map out speeds across the US once we get enough data.
Make the page feel like a native iPhone app
The site makes use of the latest JavaScript technologies to give you a more app like experience even though its still good old HTML
Not much else to say…you click the buttons and it gives you the numbers
Go check it out for yourself and give us your feedback below or via email at info@my3gspeed.com
Happy speed testing!
