This isn’t just another random iPhone speed test because it was developed by the same team (nerio and I) that brought you whenwillapple.com
The main goals with this site were:
Give results some location reference
After running a test the user can select the city that they are currently in from a list of major US cities. This will allow us to map out speeds across the US once we get enough data.
Make the page feel like a native iPhone app
The site makes use of the latest JavaScript technologies to give you a more app like experience even though its still good old HTML
Not much else to say…you click the buttons and it gives you the numbers
