att listing a new iphone?
by Chiyin on May 12th, 2008 @ 3:51 pmaccording AppleInsider AT&T is listing an additional model of the iPhone named “iPhone Black”, which seems to comfirm rumors that the next gen phone will come in a black case. I have not been able to confirm the listing on AT&T’s site, but will do so later today…
[update] unfortunately I was unable to confirm the rumor… I couldn’t find the model listed after login in. maybe I’m doing something wrong? or did AT&T fix it?

Apparently this rumor was spun off as the iPhone Black was a “placeholder” for shuffling products. Not so sure I believe that. Either someone made an oops or its all part of the apple marketing machine.
