mophie juice pack 3g coming this september!

The mophie juice pack for the first gen iPhone was the first Apple certified battery extender. If you visit the product page you will see it says “1st gen only”. Hopefully the new juice pack 3g will pack more of a punch to help feed the new battery hungry iphone 3g. The only info I have right now is that it will be “a thinner and more powerful juice pack”.

Mophie is having a contest to win one of ten free juice pack 3gs when its released.

Confirmed – iPhone Firmware 2.0.1 Coming Soon

“Apple is aware of bugs in the 2.0 firmware for iPhone and iPod Touch and has internally been testing the 2.0.1, build 5B101 is for first-generation iPhones and build 5B103 is for the new 3G iPhones.”

is your iPhone 3g running slow?

A few weird slow downs have occurred with my iPhone 3g. I’m hoping it’s just some inefficiencies in the new 2.0 firmware that can be fixed with an update from Apple. Overall I’m very happy with the phone, just hope these little bugs get worked out soon.
