AT&T Flipping the MMS switch on September 25, 2009
by Justin Horn on Sep 3rd, 2009 @ 2:38 pmUPDATE The switch is already flipped, just need to get that 3.1 update out
AT&T announced September 3 that the iPhone 3G and 3GS would be graced with MMS on September 25:
We know many of our iPhone customers are eager for an update on our rollout schedule for Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS). We’ve been working for the past several months to prepare our systems and network to ensure the best possible experience with MMS when it launches – and that launch date is: September 25 for iPhone 3G and 3GS customers. MMS will be enabled through a software update on that day.
I’d also like to announce our lucky winner…maximbu, come on down. Maximbu was the only person to correctly guess the date from all of our registered and non-registered users!
