by Chiyin on Jun 9th, 2008 @ 3:51 pmthe keynote is over and the date is set… july 11th… I guess we were all wrong… hahah… most of the rumors were confirmed, 3g (that’s a no brainer), gps, thinner, plastic case… didn’t hear anything about video conference… and the price, very nice… so what if we all got the wrong date?… the important thing now is we know when we can buy it… and this will give us plenty of time to plan our camping strategy…

3g iphone for $200? sold!!!

first, new phones are coming out right and left, if the price tag is too high people will probably just go with a different phone. and current iphone users might not go rushing out to get the new one, although devout apple fans has been known to buy new devices as they become available. but if there’s a hefty price tag attached to it they might not be inclined to do so. another reason for the subsidy would benefit at&t, they will lock down users for another 2 years and also alleviate the current EDGE network’s load, which is not in such a great shape. but then again I could be wrong and apple might not allow that just because they are apple… lets see what happens tomorrow…
