iPhone 3.0 coming June 17th

After iTunes 8.2 came out last week most people, including myself were expecting 3.0 sooner than later. Turns out it is coming out before the iPhone 3GS, but only 2 days before it!

Also, we have a lucky winner of the 3.0 poll to be announced shortly.

Upon further review there were no eligible entrants for the iPhone 3.0 poll. Remeber you must be a registered user of When Will Apple and place your vote before 48 hours of the release date and/or annoucment.

Apple just finished up their iPhone 3.0 preview and it was jam packed with lots of great features including ones that people loved to complain about like copy and paste, MMS, landscape email and text. After watching this preview we believe the the 2.x iPhone firmware line has come to at end at 2.2.1 and next iPhone firmware release will be 3.0 this summer. So now is your chance to place your votes for the new iPhone 3.0 poll for your chance to win a $50 iTunes or Apple Store gift card!

   I believe it will be June 23, a Tuesday, it seems like everything new comes out on a Tuesday (new Apps, etc.)…just a guess, of course!
