Updated: When Will Apple turns 1 and we are giving you a gift!

by Justin Horn on Apr 21st, 2009 @ 7:46 pm

UPDATE As expected Apple today announced the name of the next gen iPhone, the iPhone 3G S. Thanks to everyone that entered. Now I would like to congratulate Kevin Alex Baz as the lucky winner of our 1 year anniversary contest!

When Will Apple turned 1 a few days ago. Our official launch date was way back on April 16, 2008 and now that we’ve hit the 1 year mark we wanted to give our readers a chance to win a $50 iTunes card!

To enter the contest all you have to do is leave a comment telling us what you think the 3rd generation iPhone will be called. A lot of people have been referring to it as the iPhone 4G, but 3G goes with the wireless connection and at&t isn’t there yet so that’s probably not it. It doesn’t matter what you guess though,we will pick one guess comment at random after the name is revealed.

The contest is open to anyone in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Republic of Ireland, Italia, Denmark, Deutschland, EspaƱa, and Nederlands. If you aren’t registered (why aren’t you registered yet?) make sure you enter your email with your comment so we can contact you if you are the winner.

Good Luck!

For the record, my guess is the iPhone 3G Pro.

Ahh I think it will be called the iPhone 3g+ (The big iPhone transformation won’t be happening until 2010!)
