iPhone spaces?
by Justin Horn on Jan 9th, 2009 @ 12:27 amI have the feeling that the current iPhone main navigation will have to change in a future update. With all the apps people can put on their phones’ now the screen organization doesn’t really work as well as it could. Here is one idea that seems Apple like, but I just don’t think it could work exactly as the demo shows due to the small screen size.
Check out the demo and see for yourself if you think this could work for the iPhone???

I think this would work really well. How about using the double tap of the home button in place of the ipod feature or press an hold for a second ???
I don’t know how well it would work if you have more than 4 screens… right now I have 5… they are not all filled but I like to keep my apps organized by type… the screen real estate is very limited to do something like the mac os x spaces… maybe something similar if not exactly the same?
I think a way to flip between another set for 4 screens or zoom in and out of all the screens so you can see only 2 or 4 or 8 if you want. I’m sure whatever Apple chooses to do will be good and I strongly believe they will do something about this in a 3.0 update with the next iPhone release.
