		<description>This has been on the (Google-authored) Google Maps for Mobile apps for Blackberry, Windows Mobile, J2ME, etc. for months. Just like the cell-based approximate location service they added last fall to much fanfare, Google had it on *other* (often dumber) platforms months before.

Frustrating, given how great the phone is in most other respects. If only Google could just provide a more up-to-date GMM for iPhone through the app store without ruffling Apple&#039;s feathers.</description>
